Our 12V DC 4.0A 48W Power Adapter with 2.1mm Tip | US Plug is designed for upgrading your routers power supply when a more powerful cellular modem is used, like the newest Category 16 and higher LTE, as well as 5G, modems, routers and more!

Barrel plug end size is 2.1mm x 5.5mm with center pin (+) Positive.

Current max output is 4A @ 12VDC. Having extra current capability is good and does not damage a device, BUT you MUST make sure the Voltage matches your need, as this can be very damaging to not match the needed Voltage.

We find 4A supplies to be plenty for most applications.
