I was pleasantly surprised that the radiator was already installed in the model I bought it with

I’m writing this review a little late because I was waiting for two separately purchased Quectel YE0013CA 4G antennas.

The physical setup was straightforward: I simply connected both antennas to the external SMA ports. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the correct internal antenna cables were already connected and the separately ordered heatsink had also been installed securely.

I’m using the EM120K-GL with a GL.iNet router. The modem was recognized immediately, although I had to switch its USB network mode from MBIM to QMI with an AT command to achieve full performance. After that, the connection became fast and stable, with strong LTE signal quality. In my initial tests, the 4G speed was even higher than on the iPhone 16 Pro Max I used for comparison.

I also successfully powered both the modem and router from a UGREEN power bank, so the setup works well without mains power—very useful for mobile applications and live streaming.

So far, I’m very happy with the purchase. I’ve only just started testing it, but the first results are excellent, and I hope it remains this reliable over long-term use.

We live about 20 miles from the nearest antenna, yet we maintain 98% signal strength 99% of the time—even in bad weather. It completely outperforms Starlink for us, with download speeds ranging from 200 to 500 Mbps. Our upload speeds sit consistently around 25 to 30 Mbps, and on good days we can hit 40 to 50 Mbps.
​Because it works so well, we're getting a second setup for our son. He lives remotely too, but he's only a 5-mile shot from the antenna, so his connection should be even easier.
​To top it all off, we've only had one issue the entire time, and it was easily resolved within a day. Their customer support is practically 24/7 and handled by essentially one guy—you honestly couldn't ask for better service than that.

The best antenna+modem for 5g internet. However this is not a plug and play device. Requires a bit of technical knowledge to get set up and installed. I finally have a real 5g solution that outperforms Starlink and ATT (wired) services out in the country. Fiber is most likely years away. As someone working remotely, I am able to fully manage TEAMS calls (with just the T Mobile gateway, upload was <5MBS), file sharing, all without issue. Couple of extra steps integrating with a Unifi system needed to manage an issue with drop outs. But finally have the internet needed in 2026.

Great product. My first purchase was the Amplimax Ultra. This item is better since it has the x75 modem. Packaging was superb.

This is the best modem to have in your router, or stand alone enclosure. Fast speeds. Several carrier aggregation channels. Best throughput to date of any modem on the market I have tested. The Wireless Haven did an awesome job setting up my device.

It works as advertised

The modem that was shipped to me was the version without eSIM capability. This was unfortunate, but Wireless Haven was quickly able to rectify the situation. I initially wrote a poor review because I thought it was just sold to me missing the correct firmware, but in fact it is the wrong SKU.

The modem itself is fine, no trouble connecting to it or issuing commands.
