Talked with Richard over the phone plus email. Let him know we were using 12VDC as a main power source as we’re traveling in a motorcoach from campsites to off grid locations but would still be in coastal areas near cities.He was able to set us up with free public Wi-Fi equipment, router plus this antenna that worked excellent. The antenna was able to double the routers upload and download Mbps speeds very very consistently.The equipment is high-quality along with the mounting hardware. I decided to go with galvanized fence top rail 1- 3/8 inch diameter that have slip fittings plus schedule 40 PVC 1- 1/4 inch as a slip fitting, making a very, very solid, long, lasting professional mast imho.

This modem/antenna works incredibly well. After testing it in multiple locations I am convinced that this is a rock solid option for any home and performs better than the carrier options. The user interface for the configuration menu is very easy to use. The antenna works wonderful and makes it really easy to find nearby towers. I highly recommend this option for home or off-grid installation.
This works perfect for us traveling in our motorcoach class C where we can pick up free public Wi-Fi boosting the signal enough to play Netflix movies ,YouTube ,pay billing plus our son can do online school with his class all at the same time. We are currently using in a state park where we were receiving 19.83 MBPS what is router I was able to boost the signal 60.72 mbps download 39.16 mbps upload moved the router to the overhead cab window, where I will mount their later. The bonus feature to this router is it can be powered by a DC car outlet (have to purchase the DC outlet power supply separate highly recommend) as doing so let us run off the house battery no need for an inverter.
I installed a DC power supply to do this so there’s way less conversion losses compared to an inverter.
Tech support after product purchase is grade a here would definitely do more purchases. I also purchased an antenna if I needed to boost the signal even more.
Works great! I have t-mobile business internet. Static IP address. My closest tower is 1.45 miles from me. I have a little foliage obstruction between.
The next closest tower is 2.75 miles from me Direct line site. I get better speed from the tower further away. 99% signal.
My unit is set on NSA and in bridge mode. Off peak time I’ve seen speeds of 600-700 down and 100-130 up.
Peak I see 300-400 down and 75-90 up.
The only thing that seems to be an issue is latency.
Same with both t-mobile towers. I can view this in Unifi.
Average latency is 22-35. Frequently I have latency over 60ms shown on the graph. Not sure if it’s the modem or t-mobile. This replaced a GL-3000 spitz because of its configurability. Everything could be done through the GUI vs AT commands. I needed bridge mode to eliminate triple NAT. The other modem does it too but not reliably.
