This mini-PCIe to M.2 (NGFF) Key B 4G 5G Modem Adapter with Dual SIM Slot uses Nano size SIM Cards.  The SIM card slot is positioned 90 degrees to the adapter PCB and is located on the bottom of the PCB.

This M.2 adapter is another one of very few adapters that we've discovered to work (consistently) with the Cellular 4G LTE and 5G M.2 Key B modems--and we have a trash can full of various makes and models of M.2 adapters that do not work.

NOTES: The SIM slots on this adapter will block other SIM slots that are normally used by the mini-PCIe slot. In other words, these SIM slots will replace your routers SIM slots, and the routers slots will not work when using this adapter. You must use the SIM card slots on this adapter.

The Dual SIM function must be supported by your routers firmware, and your modem both. OpenWRT based firmwares like our WiFiX firmware and Rooter/Goldenorb firmware does not have a built in SIM selection feature, but it SIM slot selection can be handled via AT commands. Please see your modems documentation on the proper AT commands for SIM slot selection. The latest 5G modems do not all support dual SIM, and so you will only be able to use the one SIM slot for these modems, please check your modems documentation to check for second SIM (USIM2) support.
The Wireless Haven has NOT tested the second SIM slot capability of this device, we do not guarantee its use. We have tested the SIM1 slot and it is guaranteed and warranted to work as intended by the manufacturers design.

Suggestions and instructions:

1. When using inserting the SIM cards, ensure that the metal "pads" of the SIM card are facing the adapters PCB and not the SIM slots metal case. Ensure the SIM card is pushed all teh way in until the SIM slot "clicks" and the SIM card stays in place. To remove the SIM push on the SIM card until it "clicks" again and begins to puch itself back out fo the slot. You can then safely remove the SIM card. Please DO NOT pull the SIM card out without pushing it in until it "clicks" and releases the SIM card from the slots locking mechanism. The Wireless Haven is not responsible for damaged SIM cards or SIM slots from mis-use, whether accidental or not.
2. This M.2 Key B Modem adapter will not work with mini-PCIe modem cards (i.e., Sierra Wireless MC series cards), it is meant to adapt the mini-PCIe slot for using M.2 Key B style Modem cards.
