NOTE: These are Engineering Samples They are the only version made currently, and are not yet FCC approved for general use in the US. Testing only. As of 06-14-2024 Quectel does not make the RM551E-GL in n FCC approved nor non-engineering sample version.
RM551E-GL Stock Device Notes
- Default USB mode: "0" - QMI ( Typically changed to ECM / "1" )
- Default "pcie/mode" - "0" / off ( Needs to be turned on for RJ45 interface use)
- Does not need QETH drivers enabled for r8125 driver use, they are on by default.
- Firmware version: RM551EGL00AAR01A01M8G_01.001.01.001 (The latest official version available as of 10-09-2024)
