USB Expansion board and adapter

Our USB adapter is designed for connecting M.2 Key B interface cards to PCs or routers via USB port. This versatile adapter supports both 3050 (M.2) and 3040 (M.2) form factor interfaces.

• Primary power via USB3 port (900mA capability)
• Auxiliary micro-B USB port for supplemental 5VDC power input
• Auxiliary power acts as backup only - adapter requires USB3 primary power to operate

LED Indicators:

• RED LED: Device powered status
• GREEN LED: Card activity status (behavior varies by card manufacturer)

Installation Tips

1. Use high-quality, large diameter USB cables for extensions to prevent voltage drop
2. Select standard SMA antennas (RP-SMA requires different pigtail connectors)
3. Install appropriate drivers for your specific M.2 card before use
4. Remove orange protective sticker from screw pillar before installing M.2 card
