Outdoor Enclosure Cable Glands are made for use with outdoor enclosure installations to seal up your valuable cellular and wifi equipment completely. Using these cable glands with our WiFiX Medium Router PCB Enclosure Kit keeps your equipment completely sealed, dry, and safe from pests in all weather conditions.

This "Jumbo" version uses a larger 25mm (~2 inch) bore size but with a heavy duty hold nut and clamp tip and insert. The rubber clamping insert has an 8mm bore that will clamp all the way down onto USB, ethernet, and antenna cables for a full seal. The clamping tip also uses a fine thread pattern for a more powerful, yet easy to turn and set, clamping.

Note: Ensure that the relative humidity is low when assembling your enclosure as to not trap in excessive moisture that may "sweat" inside the enclosure during environmental temperature fluctuations. Sometimes adding a silicon desiccant bag to the inside of the enclosure may be necessary to absorb post assembly moisture from the inside of the enclosure.

With an overall inside diameter bore of  ~3/4" (19mm) there is plenty of space to pass through a standard size RJ45 ethernet plug, a some antenna cable connectors and even a USB plug. The included soft rubber gland is split to fit over your ethernet cable, USB cable, antenna cabling, or any wiring you wish to install through your outdoor enclosure for direct wiring to your cellular, or wifi, equipment. Typical installation use is for ethernet, USB, and antenna cabling, though power cabling and any other cabling you can squeeze though will be sealed.
