For outdoor or remote installations, the NEXPRO may be powered using a 48 Volt 60W-100W Gigabit Power over Ethernet POE injector like our 48V 72W Gigabit PoE Injector paired with our very popular, high powered, 48V to 12V 3A Gigabit PoE Splitter.  This is a powerful option for installing the NEXPPRO (or just its PCB) inside one of our external outdoor antennas (with enclosure), an outdoor router enclosure, or in a remote area where power is not readily accessible.  This brings custom installations to a whole new level.

The NEXPRO router comes with a new firmware that is NOT Rooter/Goldenorb based.

NOTE: Cellular service providers may require activating a specific data plan to use on a cellular internet device.   The carriers are constantly updating and/or modifying existing cellular plans.   It is the customer’s sole responsibility to assure a compatible cellular plan is available prior to purchasing cellular related components.

The NEXPRO requires a NANO sized SIM Card. This device is a dual SIM card device.

NOTE: x72 and x75 modems are equipped in "V2" routers with dual nano SIM slots and only come with MESH+ firmware. These are upgraded router boards for the new modems.

Outdoor External Cellular antenna(s) may also be suitable to obtain adequate (and usable) cellular signals in rural and/or remote locations.

NOTICE!! The RM550V and RM551E Qualcomm x72/x75 version is BRAND NEW and is an Engineering Sample modem. It is still under development and will require some time to work out any bugs. It is working, but will have firmware updates and driver updates coming over time.

The RM521N-GL x62 version is no longer available.

The Fibocom versions likely will not be sold anymore.
